Informal Employment: Theory And Policy

Informal employment that is nimble and flexible is highly attached importance to by high unemployment rate nations. Since the concept "informal unemployment" was made clear by International Labor Organization(ILO), many economists and sociologists have explored informal employment profitably according to society background of their own countries. With reforming and opening of our country, the huge labor force's scope of our country and domination of recessive unemployment created by the system transfer, make us have to think over the great effect that informal employment lightens society pressure.In this paper, firstly, the seriousness of china employment problem and necessity of developing informal employment are specified, and its development path home and abroad is straightened out. Secondly, the concept "informal employment" is defined in theory and explained through economic way, and population of informal employment is analyzed by demographic method. Finally, the way of developing informal employment is pointed out, and correlative countermeasures are put forward.
