Knowledge Sharing Mechanism And Its Construction In Enterprises

The trend of economic globalization shortens the lifecycle of products and quickens the change of demand of markets. Enterprises must strengthen their core competences to grasp the nettle. Knowledge sharing becomes essential in that it can add to the knowledge stock of both staffs and enterprises, boost the coordinative development of enterprises and adapt enterprises to the frequent change of markets. However, very few enterprises have successfully established mechanism for knowledge sharing until present.This thesis discusses how to establish a mechanism for knowledge sharing in enterprises through literature analysis, case study and conversational method. And, the thesis aims to table some proposals to the theory and practices of knowledge sharing in enterprises.The thesis is divided into four sections. In the first section, some basic issues related to knowledge sharing in enterprises are discussed, including the meaning and types of knowledge sharing, the possibility and necessity of putting knowledge sharing into practice, the comprehension of the mechanism of knowledge sharing, etc. The second part forms the main body of the thesis. In this part, the author discusses in detail how to construct the knowledge sharing mechanism from the following aspects: the knowledge sharing technologies, the organizational structures, the enterprise culture and the construction of knowledge sharing networks. At the same time, the author points out the risks that enterprises possibly meet with and puts forward some corresponding prevention methods. In the third section, the author analyses some obstacles that enterprises might fall across and brings forward some resolving methods. Finally, the author makes a summary of the whole thesis and points out the deficiencies and some issues to be discussed later.Based on theoretical analysis and case benchmark studies, the author generalizes comprehensively routes and measures that would be adopted by enterprises and establishes a complete system of knowledge sharing.
