Comparison On Approach Of Water Conservancy Project Contract Management

The application of Two contract management approach , the internationalconventional FIDIC and 'Model essay of water conservancy and electricity project construction contract management', is not long in our country. So, they are in primary phase in theories and in practice in our country now. FIDIC has its localizations inevitably in our primary phase. Model Essay Approach comes from FIDIC contract management approach. Although some contents, which suit for our practices, have been taken into account in the Model Essay Approach, the Model Essay Approach has its localizations also.The problem and important of the comparability research on contract management are brought forward basing on analysis of actuality of our contract management approaches. This paper exoatiates on background of contract management approaches and forms of contract conditions, then analyze throughly forms of contract items, laws and codes, content items, and so on. According to project practices, this paper describes the comparison between FIDIC and Model Essay, contract contents and the latent conditions. Then, the advantage and disadvantage of those two approaches were brought forward. Characters of alteration and claim were analyzed further. Principles for alteration, the problems and solving ways for them were brought forward.With deepening of the water conservancy project system reform, and with advancing of knowlleges, an all-round and sound contract management for water conservancy will come into true.
