Since it came into exist, electronic commerce has witnessed much success and lost. Today, it has entered a development stage characterized by rationality and stability. Collaborative commerce, which is called as the second era of EC, represents the development trend of electronic commerce. It will bring forward tremendous change to organization structure and operation mode of enterprises. Therefore, it is significant to carry out research on the topic at present.The paper discusses collaborative commerce with five chapters. The first chapter analyzes the concept of collaborative commerce including business background, technological background, theoretical background, the definition, characteristics and content of collaborative commerce. The second chapter discusses two kinds of collaborative modes including internal collaboration and external collaboration. The latter, namely external collaboration consists of three modes: exchange mode, process collaboration and reciprocal collaboration. The following two chapters separately analyze collaboration operation from technological and managerial views. The third chapter analyzes technological platform for collaboration commerce. The platform, based on enterprise informationization, takes enterprise application integration as its maintenance and enterprise information portal as its core. The fourth chapter discusses the operation mode of collaborative commerce. The chapter firstly puts forward the concept of collaborative chain, comparing differences between collaborative chain and traditional supply chain. Then it analyzes collaborative product development, collaborative manufacturing, collaborative marketing, collaborative logistics in turn based on operation process of enterprises. The fifth chapter analyzes the implementation process of collaborative commerce.
