Strategy Study Of Cultivating And Advancing Core Competence Based On Knowledge Management

For the modern enterprises the outer environment has been a dynamic one where knowledge has became the dominant factor to gain economic development and competitive position .Those original competition models being based on industrial economy now can not satisfy the requirements for modern enterprises surviving and developing under the more and more excited competitive conditions. So knowledge management and core competence strategy have became the effective measure that the modern enterprises obtain competitive advantages in the face of the more dynamic and global competitive environment.The thesis develops in the following steps: Firstly, the author discusses the concept, the features, the dynamic characters and the essence of core competence. Secondly, based on core competence's five properties, the thesis constructs a series of evaluating index system of core competence; then identifies and evaluates the index system by the method of fuzzy mathematics. Thirdly, the thesis discusses the concept and features of knowledge management, analyzes the relation between core competence and knowledge management and proposes a new kind of stratagem model of cultivating and advancing core competence bused on knowledge management. At last, the thesis analyzes the current situation of knowledge management in our country, and then the author proposes some measures to bring the stratagem into effect in the current Chinese corporations.In a word, based on the facts of Chinese enterprises, the thesis discusses how to cultivate the core competence on the base of knowledge management. I believe that it can offer some good suggestions to the current Chinese corporations.
