WTO And Agricultural Technological Innovation In Fujian

In the end of 2001, our country became a member of WTO, entering WTO brought the new development opportunity to agriculture and gave rise to the market competition that can't be avoided. So, the outstanding problem in agriculture in Fujian that should be solved at the present is how to improve competition of agriculture, the effective way of improving agricultural adaptibility is to strengthen the technological innovation.Before studying the question of agricultural technological innovation in Fujian, the article defined it first, analysed its characteristic, and on this basis structured the basic theory frame of agricultural technological innovation; Then started from studying the current situation on agricultural technological innovation in Fujian, while affirming the achievements that have already been made, From the angle of the supply and demand, Analysed in depth the factors of restricting agricultural technological innovation development at present; Thirdly, centred on the requests of WTO that have been put forward toward agricultural technological innovation in Fujian, and probed into the direction and focal point of technological innovation in the future , On the basis of this, this article at last attempted to put forward a feasible mode of accelerating agricultural technological innovation in Fujian which can meet the request of entering the WTO, namely we should set up such agricultural technological innovation mode as government to guide , the market to lead , the supply and demand of technological innovation to interdynamic.when probing into the running of the mode, the article emphasized that we should pay attention to the2function of system innovation , Proposed to deepen system reform of science and research in agriculture in Fujian, fully played the role of government to build a favorable external environment, set up the mechanism of inputs in pluralism which relied mainly on government, Trained different kinds of talents, developed popularization and service systems of agricultural technology energetically and strengthened high- tech agriculture cooperation and exchanges.
