A Study On The "Outward" Developing Strategies Of CNOOC

Based on the development history of the world oil industry and the multinational oil companies, in view of the problems in the development process of China National Offshore Oil Corporation, this paper focuses on studying the "Outward" developing strategies and the countermeasures of the enterprises, such as the motivation, environment and strategy of the multinational business, the design and adjustment of the multinational organization of the oil companies, etc.For the oil companies have the inevitable characters of the multinational business, the research about the common laws of the multinational business of the oil companies has very important realistic significances. This paper introduces the development processes of the multinational business of EXXON Group Ltd., SHELL Group Ltd. and Saudi Arabian Oil Company, presents the contrast analysis between the three companies, and also tries to find the common laws of the multinational business for all the oil companies.This paper mainly studies on the development objective of China National Offshore Oil Corporation, and describes the current domestic and international competition environment, the restricting factors of development and the influences of WTO on China National Offshore Oil Corporation.This paper also describes the development strategy of China National Offshore Oil Corporation. Analyzing by the method of SWOT, this paper proposes the strategy to base on home, exploit the markets abroad and develop outwards.
