The Research On Process Quality & Quality System Improvement Of Shunfeng Company

Since recent years, many quality problems happened and there was a great amount of economic loss in Tianjin Shunfeng Industrial & Trade Company. The managers made their mind to rebuild the quality management processes to improve quality after the quality accident happened in 2001. The thesis studies the quality condition of the company, and defines the goal that is to stabilize and improve the quality of paper tube. The key processes and influential factors of paper tube production are defined with the tools of fish-bone chart and Pareto diagram. Instability of compression strength of paper tube, which is during the curling process, is solved and the process capability is improved, using the orthogonal experiment. The quality control method based on the control chart and the TQC of paper tube product series are addressed. Finally, an improving plan are proposed and carefully described on the base of current quality management system analysis of the company.The thesis studies the process quality and quality control system of Shunfeng Company as following steps: defining problems; analyzing problem; solving problem and improvement and optimization. Not only modern quality control tools the thesis uses, especially some SPC theories and methods, but the research is tightly based on the reality of the company. So the thesis is important to the quality management of Shunfeng Company.
