The Eastern Europe changed and the Soviet Union decomposed in the late of 1980s and the early of 1990s. The bipolar structure dissolved that had endured for over 40 years. The world structure changed tremendously. The change impacted unprecedentedly the bilateral & multilateral relations in the international society and influenced inevitably the relations of Sino-Korean Peninsula.The relations of China and the Democratic People s Republic of Korea (DPRK) was influenced not only by the international situation and the relations between the big countries, but also by adjustment of Chinese inner and foreign policy .Especially, after the establishment diplomatic relations between China and the Republic of Korea (ROK), the traditional friendship relations of Sino-DPRK endured impact and trial badly. But both of countries thought highly of the bilateral relations, maintained and carried the good-neighborly relations and cooperation forward since they depend on each other in strategic security and the traditional ties of friendship inherited, so the Sino-DPRK relations had recovered and developed , furthermore, consolidated gradually.The diplomatic relations established between Sino-ROK as the precondition of the North-South Korea relations had improved. From then on, the two countries relations have been developing like bamboo shoots after a spring rain. The interchange in all respects of politics, economy and culture and so on has gone up a step. It plays an important role in the development of the relations between Sino-ROK. Firstly, it will benefit to resolve the erupt crisis and to relax the tension further in Korea Peninsula. Secondly, it will make further improvement the relations of North Korea and South Korea. Thirdly, it will promote the economy development and prosperity and establish the basis for regional economy cooperation in Northeastern Asian region.The Korean Peninsula has an important bearing on the Chinese strategic security and on the development in all aspects of politics, economy and military affairs and so forth owing to its prominent strategic position and special geopolitical environment. Especially in the surroundings of a sudden change in our world ,hegemonism and unilateralism are prevalent nowadays. China should pay close attention to the Korean Peninsula and research the policy and tactics about how to develop the relations among China and the countries in peninsula further in order to safeguard our country's interests better, to defend the peace and stability in Korean Peninsula better, to maintain the peace, tranquilization, stability and prosperity in Northeastern Asian region, furthermore, and to make contribution to the peaceful unification process of the Korean Peninsula.
