The problem of multi-attribute evaluation (MAE) is a ubiquitous problem during our life. The theories and methods of MAE play an important pole on the field of management engineering, and become indispensable in the field of economy and management, engineering and so on. However, these theories and methods have not been developed perfectly, and there are still much more problems deserved studying and resolving. There are so much information process, data process and logical reasoning during a procedure of MAE, which can't be completed by hand. Therefore, it's necessary to develop a decision support system to support MAE process. As for now, the development of evaluation system is still on the phase of theory study at large. Current evaluation system is only a program or a software package only for one evaluation problem, which is imperfect on agility, connectivity, practicability and universal performance, not to say support the solution to a new evaluation process. In order to improve quality and efficiency of the evaluation, it's necessary to integrate various methods of MAE and Decision Support System into a bigger system organically, which has the capability of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, and which can conduct users to solve a new evaluation problem. That's to say, this integrated system possesses nice universal performance and expansibility.At first, the article summarizes the theories in relation to my research about multi-attribute evaluation and DSS, and analyzes some problems about DSS nowadays. Common methods and models for multi-attribute evaluation are discussed later; common integrated modes of the method of multi-attribute evaluation are studied on and a new AHP method improved is proposed as following. In system analysis and design, considering the newest development of computer technology sufficiently, the whole structure and functions are designed of the support system for multi-attribute evaluation based on which the universal structure of the model base and research the knowledge base in plain. What's more, the article put forward a viewpoint that a model object is made of some method objects and some data objects integrated by interface function and made function, and at last the universal capability is realized during the physic design phase. In the end, some of products, which need to be cognized as high-tech product, were evaluated by various methods in this system. The result is similar to the result evaluated by Heilongjiang House of Science and Technology. It proves that the system realize the original design target, and possess practical value and universal capability to some extent.
