| The theory of core competence was brought forward firstly by Prahalad and Hamel in Harvard Business Review of May to June in 1990. China began to study it in the mid and later of 1990s, then this theory became the hot problem in the field of stratagem management since 1990s.The theory has been developed greatly in these years. Many scholars in China have studied the theory and method of core competence from different angles and published many literatures. However, majority of these literatures are academic, only a few is operable because the conception of core competence is abstract itself and is difficult to be combined with fact. In addition, when the theory of core competence is applied in our country, it has to be adjusted for adaptation because majority of enterprises in our country are quite different from the cases which Prahalad and Hamel adopted. This paper is just put forward based on this meaning and consideration.Based on the modern management theory, especially on the basic theory of the core competence of corporations, mainly directed against the big realistic problem that the present corporations of our country need the operable methods of analysis and evaluating core competence , the judging methods of level which the corporation is in and the analysis of evolvement between different levels badly , adopting systematic analytical methods combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis, this paper carries on the studies on the analysis and plan methods of the core competence of corporations deeply. The main work of this paper is:1. Summarizing the studies of the theory and application of core competence 2. Putting forward the dimensionality and index system for analysis of the core competence, studying and concluding the models and the methods for the deciding of the index value3. Putting forward the levels structure for the analysis of core competence and describing the characters of every levels4. Studying the evolvement mechanism between different levels from several angles5.
