This general report intends to systematically introduce international and China domestic project management development characteristics and tendency; to introduce and analyse NASA's program/project management processes and requirements; to identify and discuss improvement opportunities of China project management combined with NASA's and international advanced project management theories and practices.This report includes four chapters. The first chapter introduces international and China national project management development characteristics and tendency, including three characteristics and three focuses. The second chapter introuduces the framework of new version "NASA program and project management processes and requirements" (NPG7120.5B ), and compares the difference between the new version and old version of "NASA program and project management processes and requirements" from program/project review, program/project human capital management, program/project documentation management and program/project security/export control/foreign involvement four aspects. The third chapter introduces program/project management processes and relative requirements of the NASA in detail. The fourth chapter introduces the domestic project management status in quo, illustrates the strength and weakness; and combined with NASA's and international advanced project management theories and practices, discusses the improvement opportunities through ways of using process method, standardization, selecting proper project organization style, human capital development and training.
