Located in Beijing Economy and Technology Development Area, Beijing Jia Xin Energy Technology Co., Ltd was established in 1998 with its main responsibility for developing intelligent charging device and realizing industrialization. After three years development, Jia Xin Company not only took important role in field of intelligent charging device, but also manufactured a mixed-drive bus that was the first high-tech bus self-developed by Chinese. When high-tech products were developed and promoted to the market, the enterprise carried out capital expansion strategy. At the end of 2001, Jia Xin Company and Beijing Economy and Technology Development Area jointly invested to establish Jia Bo Electric Bus Co., Ltd. In less than 6 years, a private company presided many national scientific researches to realize industrialization. With sales revenue increasing by 100% each year, the company scale reached as several times as original.This paper follows such theory frame as making strategy theory of newly established company, strategic window theory, and enterprise growing-up theory against a background of this case. It describes three facets of Jia Xin Company at the beginning of its establishment and during its process of growing-up including growing-up phases, problems in every development phase, and the process how the company made strategy. Detailed contents are as follows: establishment of the company; how the company looks for strategic window to catch business opportunity; how the company measures strategic window to locate the enterprise; how the company starts strategic window to look for investment; how the company closes strategic window to keep competitive advantage; how the company carries out strategic growing-up by multi-industry; and how the company achieves structural growing-up.This paper not only describes growing up case of Jia Xin Company, but also studies other similar cases and researches related to growing up management. On this basis, the paper intends to summarize strategy made by newly established enterprise during the process of growing up. These strategies contain five points.1.Grasp business opportunity to determine appropriate market orientation for the enterprise.2.Establish and extend competitive advantage to realize continuable development.3.Carry out expansion strategy by new product and new market development.4.Realize to make scientific strategy for new product development by technical innovation.5.Take advantage of outsourcing by OEM.Summarizing the case will provide referential significance for other high-tech enterprises at the beginning of their establishment to make strategy. In addition, because it has been short time since the research of growing-up management starts, there is not specific theory frame in such field. I hope to expatiate some contents related newly established company growing-up from new angles, which will benefit for research in this field.
