The Informal Institutions Of Rural Industrialization Of Central Region In Hubei Province

Under the guide of the theories of "great tradition- little tradition" and making use of the method of "thick description", this paper analyses and discusses some problems of rural industrialization of central region in Hubei province thoroughly by case study of the community niche, the non- agricultures turn, the industrialization history, the community industrialization after the reform, the local little tradition and the typical enterprises' developmental history etc. in Makou Town. The paper lays mainly particular emphasis on the informal institutions of affect the rural community industry development.Firstly, it starts at the realities of rural industry which is important in the national economy. Then the paper points out the limitation of the existing research by reviewing the related research and put forward the textual research theme.Secondly, the paper expatiates the frame of the research, the method and property on the foundation of definition to the concepts. Thirdly, the paper reviews the industrialization history of the community after summarizing the reasons about the selection of the inquisition location. It emphasizes the introduction of local traditional profession, the history of the community industry before the reform in front and back. Fourthly, the paper analyzes the processes of the industry about five representative enterprises under the inquiry to the enterprise lords, the common employees, the community staff etc. Thus the paper draws a conclusion that the informal institutions are very important to the rural industrialization of central region in Hubei province. They contain local history and traditional culture, family management and enlarged familism, and local policy.Finally, according to the mentioned above, I think that the informal institutions are reasonable somewhere, but they are being changed. In the short term, the informal institutions will seem to be very" convenient"," valid", but in the long term, it is advantageous for the long-term of the social economy stability and developments to build up the reasonable and regular institutional arrangement structures.
