An Analysis Of Corporate Governance And Core Competence In China's Transforming Enterprise

Based on the theories of corporate governance and core competence, this study analyses the mechanism of corporate governance's effect on corporate core competence. Then, focusing on the transforming enterprises in China, this study explores how to promote core competence by improving the corporate governance. The main conclusions of this study are: corporate governance affects the Corporate governance capacity through corporate governance structure, corporate governance mechanism, corporate governance culture and etc, then affects the other component parts of core competence; the improvement of transforming enterprises in China is gradual from macro-level and micro-level, going through three stages:original shape, initial stage and perfect stage; To promote the core competence, the transforming enterprises must improve their corporate governance gradually.
