On Sino-Japanese Relation After The Cold War

China and Japan are important majors in modern world. The relationship between them has greatly developed since they set up diplomatic ties in 1972,which promotes effective cooperation in all fields, benefits the people a lot on both sides, and plays an important role in stability in East-Asia and Asia. Generally speaking, the development of Sino-Japanese relationship is on a healthy way. However, the inbalance development of politics and economy appear: economy develops smoothly while politics goes on a zigzag way. This is due to the political and economic development and changes of China, Japan and international situations after the end of the Cold War in 1990s.The problem facing us is how to understand these new changes and their tendency. This article is trying to analyse and solve it. The artcle is made up of five parts. Part One is the introduction .It looks back on the development of Sion-Japanese relationship from the founding of diplomatic ties to the end of the Cold War, analyzing the main reasons of the friendly development between two countries, and naturally brings readers to Sion-Japanese relations after the Cold War. Chapter One develops into two parts .This part discusses the process and main reasons of development and changes in Sion-Japanese relationship after the Cold War. According to the political and economic developments and changes in China and Japan, the author divides the Sion-Japanese relationship into four periods, and then analyzing the reasons behind each period. Part Three falls on Chapter Two. In this part ,the author reflects on expericens and lessons of Sion-Japanese relationship after the Cold War, concludes eight lessons and points out the right direction of future Sion-Japanese relationship. Part Four is the third chapter. By analying the main elements that would influence future Sion-Japanese relationship, the auther predicts the prospects of Sion-Japan relationship in the early 21st Century.
