China Automotive Parts enterprises face more and more pressure and challenge with China joining WTO.The global Automotive and Parts MNC are gradually entering the lastly and largest potential market of the world.The local automotive industry especially parts is not so good as MNC no matter in scale capital capacity products technical level and marketing level. So in order the to exist,the local automotive parts enterprises must improve themselves as quickly as possible in some the fields. One of the important reasons for this risk is the slow Product Engineering with low technical content . It is caused by several reasons that are outdated engineering method , insufficient working experiences , low quality of the working people and the outdated organizing methodology of product Engineering , and the last one is the most important reason .Business process Reengineering - BPR originated from 1970S and 1980S when punctualized production (watching production, one technological process production) (JIT) and so on, carried out in Japan are all models of BPR and have created miracles in the development of Japan's economy. However, the actual time when the idea of BPR was pointed out and was carried out intensively throughout the world was in 1990s. In 1993, Professor Michael Hammerin MIT and James Champion collaborated a book called "Reengineering the Corporation-AManifesto For Business Revolution". After that, BPR became a prevalent term in American business circle. The tide of BPR quickly spread in the western world and then began to be fashionable throughout the world. In recent years, with the development of information techniques, enterprises in our country also unconsciously carry out BPR.The so-called BPR refers to the process, which starts from the needs of consumers, treats enterprises' business process as the reformed target and gives fundamental analysis on the business process of the enterprises. Through the reorganization of all the constituents in the enterprises' business processes, a thorough redesign of the enterprises' business process will be achieved and then a more valuable result will be produced. The enterprises will obtain dramatic improvement in their cost, goods' qualities, services and speed, which will result in sensational improvement in the enterprises' operation.Although the theory of BPR was raised in 1990s, its concept and ideas are not new. Depending on management ideas and technological methods of many precedents, the conception of BPR develops. It is the collective wisdom of the development of management techniques and information techniques. The foundation of these theories includes: process management idea, management idea of organization and working staff, effects of information techniques on the organization and so on.BPR considers the enterprises' process as the platform and congregates many ideasincludes management idea of the business process, management idea of the organization and working staff and effects of information techniques on the organization, which is the creative point of BPR.Taking the example of Changchun Yidong clutch Co.,Ltd, this essay try to find the good way to restructure the organizing management model of Product Engineering .It will finally reach the target of improving the core competent ability of enterprise .It can be realized by analyzing its engineering process of the current products , making comparison of advanced experiences of foreign enterprises , using the theory and methodology of process reengineering as reference , making research on the good method , ideas and modes to optimize and reengineer business process of Product Engineering .The core meaning of Business Process Reengineering is to realize the complete redesign for Enterprise Business Process . It is realized by the way of starting from the requirement of the customers ,taking the business process as the object to be restructured , making thoroughly observation and analyzing on it ,and re-organizing the elements of the business process .
