As a strategic industry that supports the economic development, the equipment industry plays a very important role in the development of nation's economy. Vitalizing equipment-manufacturing industry will greatly help china to reduce synthetic energy consuming of industry, to improve nation's economic returns and to realize the transformation of the way of economic increasing. However, currently, equipment-manufacturing firms in our country widely face three bottlenecks, which are technology, craft and service if they want to seek a further development. After china's entry into WTO, they are now facing new challenging and opportunity, that is how to complete the development of new equipments with best quality, lowest cost, excellent service within shortest time so as to satisfy the customer's requirement. It's also the only way to improve the core competence of China's equipment-manufacturing corporations. As a corporation specified in special-equipment manufacturing field, one industrialization center of a research academy is facing the same challenge.BPR is a strategic reengineering project for the corporation. Since it can greatly improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the corporation, it is known as the third revolution in management field. Additional, CE and RDM are also continuously used by different manufacturing corporations to improve their core competence. Using "center" as a model, this dissertation focuses on the research of how to implement BPR , CE and RDM within the corporation.This dissertation reviews the principal theories of BPR, CE and RDM. After making a brief introduction of the situation of corporation, it makes a careful depiction and analysis of the corporation's organizational structure as well as the corporation's process of how to design and manufacture special equipment. Then, the author concludes problems that exist in the current process. In the forth chapter, the author puts forward the reengineering scheme in six aspects. It includes reengineering the earlier design process, reengineering the corporation's organizational structure, reengineering the information flow in the corporation's design and manufacturing process, creating new team-working model, using concurrent engineering replacing serial engineering, using PDM technology to support the implementation ofBPR and CE. For the reengineering scheme in each aspect, the author gives the detailed exposition. In the last chapter, the author gives some suggestions on how to implement the reengineering scheme as well as the issues that should be taken seriously while implementing the reengineering scheme.Wu song hua(MBA) Directed by prof.
