Basis of law in university is public basis compulsory course for college students. The core of it is training college students the awareness of the socialist legal. Through imparting the necessary legal basic knowledge can make college students learn to how to use the law in real life to protect themselves, and to make them understand laws, use laws and observe the law. However, this course is difficult to understand and grasp. The reason is the knowledge of law is abstract interpretation, public basis compulsory courses has less class hours. Besides this course has strong comprehensiveness and practical application, it contains multiple disciplines and aspects of social life. And college students are so young and have less experience. They can't grasp this course very well. So what kinds of methods that teachers use in class to make students get the whole picture of basis of law, and understand the law's real essence to improve the ability of practical problems? The answer is the case method is the most appropriate way, use the case to interpret laws, through the typical case study and mock the court case can make students master the basic principles of the law, but also enable students to learn how to use the law to protect themselves in real life Therefore further to learn more about case study in teaching has real operation significance in the full implementation of quality education today. This paper's topic is the application of the moot court case method, video method, audio method, animation and so on .Hoping to give some reference value for case teaching method.The paper mainly uses literature study, case study, action research, survey research methods. And it is divided into seven parts. Part I is introduction, Partâ…¡is theoretical study about the case study used in the basic law courses. The three part is the case method and the basic law courses. The fourth part is an example of case teaching in the basic law course. The five part is case study using in legal course's steps and findings. The sixth part is suggestions and thinking about the case teaching used in the basic law course. The last part is summary and outlook. The important part is the fourth part; it will be described in detail in the paper and illustrated with a case.The author thinks that this research is from a more rational angel that case teaching used in the basic law course. It can improve the quality of university's public basis compulsory course. Through combining the case teaching with college basic law course enables combining theory study and practical. And train students to use theory in analysis comprehensive issues. Hoping to provide some reference value for the case studying teachers.
