The key point of the study is the relationship between government and media in Georgia, Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan. Color revolution once broke out in these countries several years ago. The media has played an important role in color revolution. The great influence of media is related to these countries' political situation, law, economy and social environment.The whole paper is comprised of seven chapters. The first chapter introduces the research motivation and research methods. The second part begins with the concept of color revolution, and then makes a brief overview on government and several kinds of media in color revolution. From the third part to the fifth part, the paper introduces Georgia, Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan respectively. In this part, it reviews the political situation, economy, social environment, diplomatic and media before color revolution in Georgia, Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan, trying to analyses the possibility of color revolution in these countries. Furthermore, there are many examples to show the different behaviours of various media in color revolution. From these behaviours, better understanding of media behaviours can be achieved then. In the end of this part, the three countries'management of media is introduced.The sixth part analyzes the role of various media in depth to explore its profound causes in terms of politics, economics and cultures. The last part puts forward some advice on the relationship of government and media in China. For example, it is necessary to attach importance to cultivating compatible cultural environment for media freedom while accelerating the media revolution. Besides, strengthening the management of financial issues in media is also a necessity.
