The Effective Supply Of Public Goods In The Community Of Hohhot

As the improvement of market economy and the gradual process of urbanization, communities play a growing role in the supply of public goods in the city. The effective supply of public goods in urban communities can improve living standards of people and be helpful to build a harmonious society. As the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Hohhot has been developed rapidly both in economic and social field in recent years, and formed the "gold triangle" of economic and social development with nearby city Baotou and Ordos. But as a new city, Hohhot still has to improve its ability to build better community and enhance its capacity of public goods supplying. Through the collection and use of domestic and international research related to the supply of public goods in the community, and summarizes the problems that exist in public goods supply in Hohhot based on elaborating on the related theory. Analyzing specific reasons that cause those problems. The paper also make use of successful experience of home and abroad in the urban community public affairs governance, especially from Japan, and ultimately propose effective ways to improve the public goods supply in Hohhot community and offer some suggestions from the public policy view.
