Research On Journalist's Rights Protection In The Enterprise Crisis Report

When reporting the enterprise crisis, journalists encounter behaviors of rights violation repeatedly has become a serious social reality. The reasons which cause the damaged phenomenon of journalists'rights is multifaceted. First of all, journalists are in the pressure center of interest conflicts, they are the victims in the social role game of the public, the business organization, the government and the media. Especially crisis enterprise fails to establish scientific crisis management concept which sharpened the opposition and conflict with journalists. Second, the News Law can't be established so far and abuse of litigation happens frequently lead a situation that journalists'rights have no legal basis and they have no way to complaint. What's more, the abuse on administrative power by the administrative department and enforcing the law in excess of authority by law enforcement agencies caused the supervision by the public opinion hard to continue.This paper tries to find out the ways of journalists'rights protection when reporting the enterprise crisis. On one hand, from the view of system construction, to improve the public opinion environment should change the established correct crisis management ideas of the whole society and establish a smooth communication mechanism firstly. Additionally, enterprises have to change the thought of the management and decision-making, and then seek new opportunities for development by use of crises. Secondly, from the view of legal construction, we should actively promote the passing of the News Law as soon as possible. Finally, to improve the social security system for journalists asks for an active cooperation among the news media, crisis organizations, the public and the government.On the other hand, from the feasible operational level, this paper presents a preparedness plan for protecting journalists'rights on current condition. When encountering personal attack or other behaviors of rights violation, journalists can quote relevant regulations and laws. Administrative law enforcement agencies should take practical actions to standard judicial procedure and guarantee the transparence in administration as well as achieve the tendentious protection for the journalists who are disadvantaged. Facing threats and attacks, journalists should have self-protection awareness, learn more knowledge on job, professional ethics and law, and then form their own solid backing. Finally, enhance crisis awareness in the whole society can effectively weaken the contradictions between journalists and the reported object, then effectively improve the damaged phenomenon of journalists' rights.
