The Research On The Application Mode Of Mass-customization In Furniture Enterprises

With the coming of knowledge economy, manufacturing is confronted with new challenges of knowledge, concept, product and technique, and so the updating of products is accelerated; the impacts of economy globalization break t he relatively steady market circumstance. Regional culture is collided with international multi-culture, so values, and consuming conception, and taste sentiment are different. All those bring on new market circumstances with some characteristics such as diverse and individual demanding and ever-shorting lifecycle of product, which are dynamic, changeable and uncertain. In such circumstances, traditional furniture enterprises based on manual manufacture are faced with severe crises of survival and development. Though furniture enterprises have achieve machine process, but there are many traditional equipments, and the degree of automatization is low. So enterprises haven't possessed above-mentioned ability in current ability of tapping manufactures, and manufacture process, also organize structure, so changing the manufacture model is needed. The problem of how to change and where to change is key matter faced by furniture enterprises.This thesis starts with basic theories of mass customizing, then analyzing the feasibility of applying mass customizing on Chinese furniture enterprises. Then choosing the operating of enterprises as the research object and selecting the theory principles of mass customization as the guidance, this paper discussing the malpractice and transform of manufacture exploiture and manufacture process, and organize structure, manpower resource. And combining with characteristics of furniture enterprises, author bring forward corresponding innovate policy of manufacture process and suitable organize structure. Contrasts between mass customizing and mass production, some methods and approaches are discussed. Basing on above contents, the author put forward fitting approach to mass customization. The purpose of this paper is to discuss with different special scholar the best approach to achieve mass customization , and dig potential of furniture enterprises by the research, and so make more scholar or specialist concerning the development of furniture enterprises.
