With the enhancing tendency of Global Economic Integration, the international competition of primary products is increasingly fierce. We communicate agricultural technology and information frequently with each passing day. Internationalization of agricultural criterions which represents the developing orientation of current agriculture should be imperative under this situation. There is no exception that well-modernized agriculture in the world are all based on high standardization and targeted on pursuing the high standard of products' safety and hygiene, and the sustainable development of industrial. Therefore, raising the level of agricultural standard and establishing the quality safe system of agricultural production have been the important measure to strengthen the market competitive force of a nation or an area.The level of agricultural standardization of our country is constrained by the development of economy and the manner of production. It not only has a significant distance in comparison with international, but also cannot content the domestic market with the need of high-qualified and safe agricultural production. In abroad, our country suffers tremendous pressure on the export of agricultural production with numerous hygienical quarantine measures from developed countries. They set higher trade barrier to developing countries by their stern standard. At home, the urgent need of the Great Development of Western, the development of Yangzi triangle area and the industrial restructuring and industrialization of agriculture in every province presents a higher requirement on the development of agricultural standard.In order to accelerate the effective settlement of "agricultural, country and farmer" problem, strengthen the competitive force of our agricultural production in the international market, and make China's economy to keep pace with economic globalization, we should expedite to constitute(emend) the agricultural criterions, and to establish a sound, unified, authoritative primary products quality standard system, strengthen the implementation of primary products quality safety standard to ensure the consuming safety and to improve citizens living quality, expand the scale of the demonstration area of agricultural standardization, promote the sustained, speedy and healthy development of county economy.
