Curricula-setting On Pre-job Training In Recruits Graduated From Local Medical Universities

In the procedure of new military revolution, training system of officers has greatly changed in our army. The supplement of military professionals has began to depend on the graduates of local universities and recruits who graduate from local medical universities has increased in our army medical section, but army hospitals shoulder the responsibility of medical support in peace and war time, which is different with civil hospitals. With the development of military, the condition and category of wounded has great changed in future war, so changes in principle of loss in manpower lead to the needs of the capability of treat and cure have increased accordingly, especially the capability of medical care, preventive medicine, medical psychology support and medical protection against NBC weapons and new conception weapons and so on. Whether or not the medical personnel can shoulder the scared responsibility of healing the wounded and rescuing the dying so as to maintain and improve the fighting effectiveness of army has been the major problem. The foundation of war time is built in peace time, So, it should enhance their medical service capability through strict training in peace time. Otherwise, although they can meet the demand in daily medical work, the insufficient in knowledge and skill about military medicine could lead to the worst outcome once war break out, The study is based on the new-era military strategic guideline made by the Central Military Committee and targets on how to enhance the quality of medical personneland do some research on curricula-setting of new recruits of pre-job training. The study mainly aims at building up a scientific reasonable and feasible curricula-system, which bring up qualified military medical personnel and meets the demand of the future limited high-tech war and the need of hold their first post in army at present.Firstly, through literature review, we analyzed and forecasted the need of treat and cure in future war and military physicians should have the capability of field medical care, preventive medicine, medical psychology support and medical protection against NBC weapons and new conception weapons and so on as well as the related training program of American army, which will be used the reference in the following research. Secondly, through status-in-quo investigation, we have analyzed the need of training and evaluated current curriculum in order to find out the deficiency of curricula-system. Finally, after the work mentioned above has finished , we build up a elementary curricula- system and apply the Delphi Method to evaluated the significance of all subjects, then statistical methods is used to select subjects and calculate weight-value to every subject. A proposal is put forward including curriculum and some advice on how to organize and implement such a program. The training curriculum of new recruits of pre-job should be focus on the subjects of military and military medicine and on building up some core curriculum encircle it and improve training of skill in the area of military medicine to enhance the quality of military physician to meet the demand of the future war and the need of hold their first post in army.
