In view of this ,we are trying to make further exploration to industry's internationalcompetitiveness appraising issue on the foundation of the research results athome and abroad, we aim at analyzing the causality of different influencingfactors of international competitiveness of automobile industry, setting up theevaluation index system of international competitiveness of automobileindustry, with it we can investigate the real state of the internationalcompetitiveness of automobile industry of our country. Study and research in evaluation system of industry's competitivenessalready become an important way of various countries to look for and studyother countries' management and practice experiences and policy . It is animportant way of finding the strong weak spot of national industry'scompetitiveness too. Further research the industry's competitiveness appraisaltheory, and combine the concrete characteristic of Chinese automobileindustry, construct an index systems ,with which to appraise the industry'scompetitiveness, contribute to finding, utilizing our own" comparativeadvantage",and to offer lasting motive force and theory basis forgreat-leap-forward development of the automobile industry of our country. In this text, we make the supporting theoretical foundation of industryinternational competitiveness appraisal model in detail in second part,Proceeding with concept of the competitiveness, we probe into intension andextension of industry's competitiveness and industry's internationalcompetitiveness , and introduce two international bodies :World EconomicForum (WEF) and International Institute Of Management and Developmentin Switzerland Lausanne(IMD)in detail, who have made great theory andpractice contribution and achievement to the international competitiveness ofindustry.
