Research On Values Education Of Contemporary Chinese Youth Under Culture Variety Background

Along with the development of china's reform and opening, economic globalization and information technology, cultural variety has become an unavoidable problem in contemporary china. On one hand, cultural variety provides a good opportunity for us to absorb the essence of different national cultures in order to develop the socialist culture; on the other hand, cultural variety brings new challenges to socialist culture and ideology of our country. People can understand every kind of exotic values, which conceal in cultural images by many ways, Internet and modern media for example. While dominant value is no longer the one and only voice in our country. Adolescence is the critical period for the youth to form and develop the values. But the youth can not deal with much information because they are seldom contact with society, lack of social experience, are not matured, can't clearly recognize yes-no questions and are apt to be affected by bad idea and behavior. So, It's ideological and political worker's job to find an effective way for values education under culture variety background to help the youth identify and accept socialist value, stick up for ideology and culture of our country, and avoid influenced by western split and westernization. I start with individual cognitive selection, analyze the influence of cultural variety on the youth' value and the difficulty youth' values education faced with in cultural variety background. And learn from reception theory, communication, sociology, psychology and pedagogy, put forward multi-dimensional integration youth values education mechanism to enhance the effectiveness base on reception and keep an eye on subjective selectivity and culture variety background factors affecting values education of the youth.
