In the thesis, under the guidance of Marxist human-oriented idea and educational theory and the Scientific Concept of Development, we systematically elaborate the humanist and cultural connotation and the historical source, elaborate the theoretical gist and practical meanings of the human-oriented concept in the ideological and political education, and fully study the contents, requirements, and applying approaches of the human-oriented concept in the idealogical and political education with the purpose of promoting the scientific and effective ideological and political education and the discipline construction.The thesis is composed of four parts:The first part: we elaborate the scientific connotation of human-oriented concept and its relations with and differences from the people-oriented thought in the Chinese history and humanism in the Western history. We think that human-oriented concept affirms the subjectivity and values of the human beings in the historical development and the social practice, therefore, we need to educate, guide, inspire, urge, respect, understand, care about, help and depend upon students when we adhere to the human-oriented concept in the ideological and political education.The second part: we elaborate the contents of the human-oriented concept in the ideological and political education. The connotation of the human-oriented concept is extremely rich, broad, and pofound. As far as the ideological and political education is concerned, it means we need to care about the human interests, attach importance to and meets the human needs; we need to respect the personalities of the educated objects and show our human concerns; we need to encourage them to reveal human values and to stimulate human creativity; we need to acknowledge their subjectivity and believe that they can develop their qualities by depending theis instinct powers.The third part: we elaborate the theoretical gist and practical meanings of the human-oriented concept in the ideological and political education. The theoretical basis of the human-oriented educational concept is the Marxist human-oriented idea, theory of serving the people by Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping, and Marxist theories on human essence, human value, human needs, human development and emancipation of minkind; the adhereance to the human-oriented concept in the ideological and political education reveals the objective requirements of the contemporary social development, the educational rules, and the essential requirements of"Three Represents"Theory and the Scientic Concept of Development.The fourth part: we elaborate the basic plans and effective approaches of how to carry out the human-oriented concept in the ideological and political education. The implimentation of the human-oriented concept need our scientific recognition and certain mechanism. In the aspect of the recognition, the recognition of the essence and ultimate purpose of the ideological and politucal education, the human essence and psychological development are the key points. As to the mechanism, the most important is to form the thoro and omni-directional mechanism of the particification of the whole staff, at the same time, to develop the new resources of the ideological and political education, to improve the qualities and abilities of the educators, especially their scientific, humanist and innovative spirits.
