This paper described the job satisfaction and public security employees, at the same time, it show us the relative theories. The author gets the security employees'job satisfaction through the interviews and questionnaires in one branch of Shanghai Security Bureau. Now we get several focus of public security employees by Likert scale 6 points. The scale through 36 questions includes 9 parts about job. It is compensation, promotion, managers, benefit, occasional rewards, operational procedures, colleagues, the work and intercommunion. On this basis, the author suggests several points to improve the management to public security employees by several lower job satisfaction.Public security employee is not the Policemen, it is different with policemen in management and requirements. Parts of public security employees have had the experience of the workplace, they trust to accept the equivalent of exchange values, it is in conflict with the tenet of people policemen, "would rather the poor, be willing to sacrifice". Every Public Security employee does not has the same work, so it is difficult to evaluate, quantify. The number of public security employees is not much, but it is very dispersed in different departments, and it is not easy to evaluate the job in the different parts. There are no promotion and advancing of police rank in public security employees, this will have a huge negative impact inevitably.This study seeks to how to improve the management in public security employees and which should be pay attention in this field.
