Taking politics as perspective, according to the reasons why the Chinese Communists established the'Rich Peasants Policy'in the Agrarian Revolution War (1927-1937), this essay has an analysis of the formation process of this policy as well as Leftism's impact on it. The author holds that, in terms of the production and formation of Chinese Communist Party's (CCP)'Rich Peasants Policy'during the year 1927-1937, there were both objective and subjective reasons. From the objective aspect, it had an indiscerptible relation with the characteristics of rich peasants themselves; while from the subjective angle, it was the outcome of Chinese Communists, taking Mao Zedong as the representative figure, their seeking hard to practise and explore. But the existence of the'Left'mistakes inside the CCP had a negative and deep influence on the'Rich Peasants Policy', even concerned the success or failure of the Chinese revolution. This essay is divided into five parts:Part One probes into the reasons why CCP established the'Rich Peasants Policy'from both of the objective and subjective perspectives.Part Two expounds the great contribution made by Chinese Communists, taking Mao Zedong as the representative, on the formation of the'Rich Peasants Policy'. But in the process of formation, due to the impact of'Left'mistakes inside the CCP and mistakes made by the guidance of the Communist International, the Communist Party began to go wrong towards this policy.Part Three goes deep into the enforcement of Wang Ming's rich peasants policy, which took on a'Left'dogmatism, and its harm to the base area of CCP. It also points out that under such difficult situations, Mao Zedong carried through a resistance and fight against this'Left'rich peasants policy. Part Four analyzes the reason why CCP changed the'Rich Peasants Policy'and points out that it had a close relationship with the internal and external situations at that time. And the establishment of Mao's leading position in the CCP provided the political guarantee for the transformation of that policy. In Part Five, the author makes comment on the CCP's'Rich Peasants Policy'as a whole and posts its revelation for the CCP, and this not only has a historical but also a practical significance.
