Since reforming and opening policy, Chinese rural areas implemented the household contract responsibility system, which liberated greatly rural production forces. Under the practice of reforming the system of household registration, many male peasants poured into urban areas for the aim of the family earning and self-development. With the egression of male production forces, there appears a particular group in our rural areas——rarul remaining women, who undertakes the heavy burden of agricultural production and family life in the situation of their husbands being absent from home. The appearance of rarul remaining women is the inevitable result in the social transforming process of integration between urban and rural civilizations and this image has become one general problem in the long run.Rarul remaining women are the main force and the important human resources during the course of Chinese new countryside construction. Their scientific and technological level, cultural level and management ability all directly influence the progress of new socialist countryside construction. However, in the wide rural areas of China, being restricted by the development of economy and society as well as bounded by the traditional thoughts and concepts, most of the hometown remaining women have not received systematically normal agricultural technology education and vocational training. Being in the lower degree of culture and science technology literacy, these women are very poor at comprehending and mastering morden agricultural science technology. All these kinds of issues will restrict the realization of agricultural modernization and the development of new countryside construction. Therefore, strengthening the training work of agricultural technology to hometown remaining women in rural areas is not only the need for their own development but also the inner requirement to implement scientific development view. And to the great extent, this is a very important measure to speed up the process of agricultural moderniztion, to advance the construction of new socialist countryside as well as to build the harmonious society. The thesis, based on the theory of adult education, the theory of life-long learning and etc, made a research combining with the related theories from pedalogy, sociology and psychology. Firstly, the thesis put forward the urgency, practicality and era spirit after made a comprehensive practical analysis to the necessity of implementing training work of agricultural technology to hometown remaining women in rural area in a macroscopic way. Secondly, targeting on those hometown remaining women of the nine rural communities from seven city-regions in Henan province, the thesis made an empirical investigation of the basic situation of these women, their need and will for agricultural technology training work as well as that of the issues existing in the training process. On the basis of comprehensive empirical study of the current issues existing in the training process of agricultural technology, the thesis analyzed the reasons causing such kind of issues in a systematic way. Lastly, according to the real status of hometown remaining women in rural areas, the thesis put forward the princilple, mode and approach to agricultural technology training work. And the thesis attempted to raise the concrete secure strategy to implement the agricultural technology training work from the dimension of macroscopic, middlescopic and microscopic.
