Studies On The Concept Of The New-Aged Migrant Workors In The Process Of The Construction Of A Harmonious Society

This thesis has based itself on the background of constructing a harmonious socialist society from investigations, takes the group characteristics of the new-aged migrant workers as its start point, to do research on these workers' current concept. The concept of the new-aged migrant workers has obviously showed its double-edged characteristic, it has a positive perspective point, which is favourable for constructing a harmonious socialist society. For some phenomenons are, these migrant workers appeal for getting rid of the consciousness of small scale peasant; they are brave to smash the shackles of closed village consciousness; they give less important to the consanguineous and regional factors in communication; they have strengthened their consciousness of political participation, etc. But, there is also a negative perspective, which is unfavourable for the construction of harmonious socialist society, things are, the migrant workers are cold and detatched to the sense of hometown belonging; gap in their communication with the urban residents still exist; sense of utility in their purposes of political participation is very strong; and the traditional subject consciousness still roots in their mind deeply; in addition, they lack attatchment and interest in the agricultural activities. The reasons that the new-aged migrant workers have this negative concepts are mainly attributed to five factors. Separately, the lack of ideological and political education is the important cause; the obstacles in systems the direct cause; while the lax management of government to the migrant workers is the critical one; on one hand, the obstacles of the workers themselves is the fundamental reason, on the other hand, the social atmosphere is the indirect reason.Through the analysis on these reasons, the author thinks in taking countermeasures to change the concept of the new-aged migrant workers, to improve their ideological and political education is the breakthrough point; to reform the household registration system is the stay point; and momentous step must be taken to refom and improve some related systems; in addition, to innovate on their sense of urban services is the first step; while to improve their working skills and their ability of urban adaptation is the fundamental approach.The concept of the new-aged migrant workers, in some degree, represents the tendency of the social mentality of their group, doing well in ideological and political education and the management of this group, plays an important role in promoting the construction of the harmonious socialist society.
