Study On Local Government Administrative Capacity Of Contemporary China

From SARS to avian flu, foot-mouth disease, from Miyun stampede to Chongqing Tianyuan Chemical Plant chlorine explosion, from the Songhua River water pollution incident to the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, and the coal mines collapse, floods and other accidents which appeared frequently in recent years. These situations have clearly showed that contemporary China has entered a period of high crisis. These public crisis events presented the challenge to our government's public crisis management ability.The crisis management process the Local government displays the government administration ability. In fact, the local government as the basic organization of government, facing the issues directly in dealing with public crisis process, it is the executor to carry out policy. The local government's administrative ability has an effect on dealing with public crisis.
