The Reconstruction of Afghanistan's Security is discussed when compared relatively with her political reconstruction and economic reconstruction, and its content includes:the reconstruction and reform of the Afghan army, Afghan police system, the disposal of existing armed forces (dissolute the army of warlords and ban illegal groups), and arms control issues (collection of firearms and ammunition, mine clearance), Judicial Reform, the control of drug trade, even the fight against the Taliban,"al Qaeda" residues and anti-government forces. In a word, rebuilding the security and the war on terrorism have been gone on almost simultaneously in Afghanistan. This paper analyzes the reconstruction of Afghanistan's security and the factors influencing its performance, mentioning five areas:first, the background of security reconstruction, second, rebuilding the security system, which are Consisted of reconstruction of the army and police, judicial system and arms control. Meanwhile, the analysis of the status of the Taliban may propose a solution to the Taliban issue, because the Taliban's suppression of the security situation is directly related to the maintenance of social order in Afghanistan. Besides, the increasingly worsening of the drug problem is a tumor of society, eroding the economic base and superstructure in Afghanistan. This paper tries to trace the history of drugs in Afghanistan, in order to investigate its current situation and harm, and strive to explore some countermeasures. Finally, because Afghanistan isn't a born "democratic model" country, instead it's a clone transplanted externally by Western countries. So this paper tries to dissect the unique role of the external forces on Afghanistan's reconstruction, and analyze the actual impact of such efforts. This paper maintains that relying solely on military force can not eliminate the destructive causes of security in Afghan reconstruction. Therefore, we should fully consider the political factor such as the sharing power with Taliban, relying on the international community to promote Afghanistan's economic reconstruction and spare no efforts to eliminate the unstable breeding sources.
