The performance appraisal of civil servants is an important component of the Government's human resources management, which provides an objective basis for the appointments, rewards and punishments, pay system design, and training, all to develop themselves, as well as an important way to improve the Government management efficiency. Based on the research of domestic and international civil service examination system, the paper analyzes the problems in the civil service performance appraisal in China and makes appropriate recommendations for improvement. In addition, about index system, the core technology for the performance evaluation module, this paper designs the indicator system using Key Performance Index. Finally, this paper also emphasizes the importance of the Civil Service performance appraisal mechanism.
