As one of the most developed countries in the world, American'politics. economy and culture is concerned by the people in the world. Many people think that there is no ideological and political education in the U.S. People could find it in the socialist countries, such as China. With the gradual development of the politics, economy and culture, the increasing interaction between nations, we began to understand the United States.Although the concept of ideological and political education doesn't exist in American, they name it citizenship education or political socialization, which is the same as our ideological and political education. The study further shows that there are fruitful research and experience of the management of the ideological and political education in the United States. In the early days after the founding of the country, they determined the task of ideological and political education. The textbooks about U.S. history, government and the ideological and political education are published in 1790.Then, administer offered civic course. In the years that followed, they continued the research and never stopped. Especially in the 20th century, the U.S. government pays more attention to fostering qualified citizens.
