What is liberation? Liberation is an ultimate aim people pursuing, is a beautiful flower which will not wilt for ever in human society, and it has been an important symbol stepping into civilization and modernization. Referring to liberation, different people hold different view. Marx took it for granted that it is the ultimate aim of getting liberation and full-scale development for people, which is the most fully summary and conclusion made by Marx. He drew this conclusion based on criticizing and acceptation to predecessors.After efforted by many idealists such as Epicurus, theory of social contract, classic philosophy and so on, theory of liberation sustains the speediest development. Meanwhile, there are certain faults existing in these theories. For that Marx established his perfect theory system of liberation which is built up on his historical materialism. He believed that the whole history of human society was the process of people has been continuously pursuing the liberation of themselves, to achieve liberation and fully-scale development. From this, he solved a series of arguments existing in the liberation problem concerning about determinism and indeterminism, realism, theory and practice, ideality and reality, etc. He realized the criticism and exceed to predecessors.For this, in the current process of constructing Socialism with Chinese characteristics, how to realize Chinese characteristics concerning Marx's liberation theory has become the vital subject constructing socialist democratic politics with Chinese characteristics. For it, the lead collectivity around the General Secretary Hu Jintao of CCP has put creatively forward the development ideas of scientific socialism development which is absorbed from the fruits of realizing the Chinese characteristics of Marxism ever since the reunion of new China till now. The opinion argues if we want to obtain the scientific development of democratic political of socialism, then we must insist the idea of "people oriented" to construct the harmonious society of Socialism. This is the most important political problem in modern China, and also the first problem of realizing Chinese characteristics concerning Marx's liberation theory.
