| The purpose of researching the problem of Resource Nationalism in Oil Producing Countries is to solve the problem and protect the vulnerable International Energy Security because it is a utmost factor which cause the unsafe status of International Energy Security. The main form of Resource Nationalism is that Oil Producing Countries control the origin of producing oil by limiting or even forbidding the invest of foreign capital on Upstream of Oil & Gas and compulsorily adjust the relationships with foreign Oil Companies so as to maximize the benefit of Oil & Gas Resource by modifying the items. The policy of Resource Nationalism in Oil Producing Countries impact the overall International Energy Security by causing a series of changes of international economy, politics and military which is closely related to our every day life. This paper analyzes the definitions and the impacts of the Resource Nationalism systematically and deeply. Firstly, this article gives a brief historical retrospect,analysis and induction of Resource Nationalism in order to pave the way for the interconnection of Resource Nationalism that we focus on now. Secondly, this paper systematically analyzes the causes, actors, characteristics, forms and desired goals of Resource Nationalism and the impacts of resource nationalism from perspective of relations between Resource Nationalism and international energy security. And furthermore, the paper also analyzes the impacts of Resource Nationalism to international energy security and provides a new perspective to treat the Resource Nationalism in the age of interdependent world of globalization. Meanwhile, this paper also gives some constructive initiatives to help build a harmonious and stable system of international energy security. Lastly, the author gives some suggestions to China that how to respond to Resource Nationalism in oil producing countries on the basis of the analysis of China's roles in international energy security. According to the corelative study of Resource Nationalism and International Energy Security, the conclusion can be easily seen as following: The Oil & Gas Producing Countries'Resource Nationalism policy is a normal phenomenon and it can be prevented and controlled if we can build an International Energy Security System which including Oil and Gas Producing Countries and Consuming Countries and can choose a wise choice of all-win cooperation road of the mechanism. |
