Since 1970s, the developed western countries have paid great attention to the field of energy security. China's economic has been developing quickly for over 20 years, and needs more energy supply. The report of 16th NPC predicts the China's GDP in 2020 will increase double over that of 2000.To reach the goal and keep a high economic development speed, the energy supply must be insured.To cooperate with foreign counties (areas) is one of the main measures that China secures the energy supply. Through the different ways as politics, diplomat and economics, China should focus its cooperation with some energy resource countries (area). The cooperation can help China secure stable energy supply and diversify its energy supply. In addition to that, to cooperate with energy consume counties will benefit the mutual interest of countries , area even the world.Therefore, the thesis studies the reality and the future of the cooperation through the ways as followings:1. To study the reality of energy security in China, and find out the significance and possibility for the cooperation.2. From the energy distribution features and the factors concern about China's energy security, the study analyzes the focal counties and area China should cooperate with, including energy output and import counties.3. To study comprehensively the decisive factors that affect the cooperation. The factors are from China itself as well as from the targeted counties and areas.4. To study the principles, reality and solutions to the cooperation. Different countries, areas and organizations are analyzed in details.The cooperation will ensure China's energy security in the 21st century and has significant meaning for the international energy security.
