To mark with the 15th conference of military academy, the education of the military academy has entered a new stage of historical development. Its academic institutions was gradually changed from academic education as the main to professional education-based."Educational Transformation"has become a theme of construction and reform of our military academy. There are two different values of education between the academic education and the professional education. Academic education is to lay a solid foundation, enhance the development potential, focus on students'long-term, and play a ground-breaking role in the students'development of life. Professional education was designed to comprehensively improve the ability of students posts competencies and the creativity, focuses on the students'quality of timeliness, relevance and practicality. Therefore, the construction of teaching staff has become a very real and urgent task before the post office educational institutions. It not only restricts post office of educational institutions to improve their overall educational level, but also affects the institution's personnel training goals.Surrounding the basic idea of the construction of the teaching staff, the definition, characteristics and the ranks of teachers request of the professional education was interpreted and the status of the construction of teaching staff was discussed, developed the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions according to current situation and problems.
