Research On Present Developing State Of Specialized Club In Shanghai University Of Sports

The development of modern sport has been integrated into every element of social life. But the development of sport cannot go far without the cultivation of high-quality talent personnel, the high-quality coaches and research personnel are the key factors in the development of contemporary competitive sports. The task of cultivating coaches and specialized sport teachers is shouldered by Sports training major in tertiary education of sports university.According to situation of the past, the Sport training major was in China founded in 1957 and was a profound, far-sighted and important move made by the former State Physical Culture and Sports Commission. However, in recent years, a lot of problems are triggered by such factors, such as the increasing number of universities with sports training major, fast growing scale of high education enrollment goes along with intensive competition among sports universities and pressure from university graduates unemployment. The mode of "specialist" of sports training major cannot meet the need of social development, and the cultivation of "generalist" mode cannot embody the characteristics of different major. Consequently, we should bring up "theoretical and technical" talent people with strong practical ability, and attach great importance to the following comprehensive abilites,namely,thought texture,knowledge structure, sport practice, which should be the objective of talents cultivation in all levels of various sport universities.So, the author of this research handed out 345 questionnaires to the students of sport training major club in Shanghai University of Sport,analyzed the current status and found out the role in the mode of "specialized club" cultivating the positiveness of the students, the ability of governance and cultivativeness, revealed the objective rule of positive learning and practical ability cultivation among sport training students among sport universities, put forward suggestions on students'positive learning,governance, creativeness and practical abilities. According to the findings, there do exist some main factors which will hinder the positive learning of students and the cultivation of practical abilities, such as motivation, occupational belief, the structure of knowledge,the level of specialized techniques, cultivate objectives in universities'environment, setting of curriculum,faculty, the demand of the society and pressures on employment.The research on the sport training club in Shanghai University of Sport confirmed the existence of such factors. Besides, specialized club plays a positive role in cultivating the motivation of positive learning and practical abilities among the students.This research also provided advice for the specialized club to put more investment into faculty and gymnasium facilities.
