Career decision making self-efficacy is Bandura's self-efficacy theory applied in the career fields. Currently, the research on the career decision-making self-efficacy is gradually drawing more attention at both domestic and abroad, but this research mainly focused on college students. The study on the postgraduate is limited. In recent years, because of enrollment, postgraduates increased year by year, which made the employment of postgraduate very difficult. Especially, the economic crisis made the employment situation of postgraduate even more severe in the last two years. Therefore, the study on the postgraduate's career decision making self-efficacy is particularly necessary.This study based on the literature review of career decision-making self-efficacy and relating research. The subjects included 220 postgraduates from different universities and different grades in Dalian. This study used the Career Decision-making Self-efficacy Scale, Social Support Scale and The Big Five Personality Questionnaire to investigate the characteristic of postgraduate's career decision-making self-efficacy, and used correlation analysis and regression analysis to explore the interaction among career decision-making self-efficacy, social support and the big five personality. Finally, this study explored the validity of group sandplay therapy for improving postgraduate's career decision-making self-efficacy.The subjects included 6 postgraduate, and the study used pre-post test experimental design.The results indicated:1. In general, postgraduate's career decision-making self-efficacy was at a high level of medium, the scores among individuals were more discrete;2. There was no significant difference in gender, grade or subject category of postgraduate's career decision-making self-efficacy;3. In terms of liveing in countryside or city and single child or non-single child, postgraduate's career decision-making self-efficacy had no significant differences;4. Postgraduate's career decision-making self-efficacy had significant differences in having or not having full-time work experiences, had no significant differences in having or not having part-time work experiences; 5. Postgraduate's career decision-making self-efficacy had significant correlations with social support,and objective support had great influences on career decision-making self-efficacy;6. Postgraduate's career decision-making self-efficacy had significant correlations with Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness of the big five personality factors, and Agreeableness, Conscientiousness had a lot of influences on the career decision-making self-efficacy;7. Group sandplay therapy can improve postgraduate's career decision-making self-efficacy effectively.
