Educational practice is an important component of the teacher education and the link of thetheory with practice, it is very important for the development of professional education in thefuture. It can be said to some extent, the quality of teaching practice direct impacts on thedevelopment of teacher education. Because of this, the quality of teaching practice drawsmore and more attention of the community, but also gets a series of reforms. This paper introduced the education practice of the pre-stage of American teacher,including sorting out the history of teacher education of the United States, outlining the statusof American education practice, as well as making a summary of the development of theirteaching practice and deficiencies,in order to get some empirical things.The development ofAmerican educational practice is inseparable from its development of teacher education, andto the latter half of the 20th century has become a very good system. To learn from hisexperience of the country's education practice, will help us to reflect on our own educationalpractice, and provide some meaning and thinking for our current educational practice. Article was structured as follows: Introduction:introduced the background issues, the significance of topics, the methodologyof this thesis and the definition of the relative concept. Chapterâ… :sorted out the United States pre-history of teacher education practice,considering the development of teacher education as the main line,the teacher educationpractice presented different characteristics in the different stages. Chapterâ…¡:The status of American education practice was summarized, as to make a wholeunderstanding of the education practice of the pre-stage of American teacher. Mainly includedthe teaching practice of the goals, standards, curriculum and management and practices(including educational practice time arrangements,and practice of guidance and assessment,practice evaluation).Reviewed some reforms of the education practice of the United States,mainly introduced the main mode of teaching practice about the professional developmentschool (PDS).And with the increasing demands on teacher education, the master of educationpractice also had a very good development.
