The relationship between teachers and students is the most basic and the most important relations in education process; it has always been the focus of education theories studies. With the process of mass higher education, the conflicts between students and teachers are becoming increasingly evident at universities. Teacher-student conflict is one aspect of the teacher-student relationship. To study the phenomena of Teacher-student conflict is to promote relations between teachers and students.Many researchers think that in the Confucian culture, it advocates that teacher should be respected and students must obey the orders of teachers and this is one of the reasons which lead to the teacher-student conflicts. Therefore, to find the source of teacher-student relationship from the Confucian culture is very necessary.At present, the teacher-student relation is tending to be tension and apart at the overall. There are negative and positive significances of teacher-student conflict. Therefore, university teachers and students should be together to prevent and reduce the damaging effects.It is divided into five parts in this passage. The first part introduces the background, related researches and studies, core concepts. The second part teases out of the relationship between teachers and students in the Confucian culture. The third part gives a detailed description of the conflict, then summarizes four types of teacher-student conflicts. After that, it analyses the reasons of teacher-student conflict in-depth. The fourth part discussed the corresponding countermeasures of the teacher-student conflicts. The fifth part put forward that integration may be the proper way to promote the relations between teachers and students. In short, the Confucian culture still has its practical significance in modern society and it should be inherited, the object is to establish a harmoniums relation between teachers and students.
