Before the mid 1990s, the phenomenon of university students'living off-campus is still few, however, with the continuously further development of our nation's social politics and economy, higher education is transforming from elite education into mass education, university students'thought and concept is keeping changing, and so the phenomenon of university students'living off campus is and will be increasing. Correspondingly, more and more students who live off-campus goes wrong easily and dilapidate their study. And many crimes are thus committed by them. So in Jun.2004,Ju1.2005 and Jun,2007,the education administration has issued the notice of management on university students'lodging, emphasizing that in principle students are not allowed to live off campus on their own, and if there's special reasons for living off-campus, education and management should be reinforced on those students. At the same time, universities put out relevant regulations on living off-campus in succession. But university students living off-campus on their own is still a common phenomenon in many universities. What on earth will the phenomenon negatively influence the growing up of the university students? What are the causes of the influence? How to find the countermeasure? Apparently, these questions have great realistic guiding significance of the education and management on students living off-campus.The foundation of this thesis's demonstration comes from the writer's practice and thinking. University, so a lot of cases and analysis information of students'living off-campus and in-campus has been rolled up, and the writer is looking forward to thinking systematically and theoretically. The research is done by analysis questionnaire on large samples, interviews and consultation, and comparison, supported by theories and polices and literature, which are validated by each other. The writer is trying to combine quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis, to sustain the traditional style of demonstrative research, and by using some vivid and typical cases to strengthen the research impact and to set off the significance of some materials and scenes.Chapter one of the thesis mainly elucidates my writing purposes, research aim and research method, also literature of current research situation and results of this topic is reviewed. Chapter two is mainly about the research design and theoretical assumptions. Chapter three is to study the factors of tool and questionnaire analysis, etc. Chapter four basically is the comparison of students'accommodation influence on students'life and self-discipline, then come to the comparison results, demonstrated hypotheses. Chapter five puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the preceding problems, mainly includes building a standardized management system to better manage the living off-campus situation and adding more dorm buildings and steering to live students'living off-campus and so on.
