The Investigation And Research Of Registration Administration To Sports Teams Of High Standards In Common Higher Schools Of Jiangsu Province

For a long period, the sports mechanism in China has been adopting the training system which includes three parts, that is,"Local Amateur Sports School-Provinces Professional Team-National Team". Since the 1980s, the Chinese sports has advanced quickly with the impetus of the National System. At the same time, due to the Three-tier system which was independent from the school, contradiction such as the missing of the athletes'culture education and re-employment was increasingly prominent. At this point, in April 1987, the Former State Education Commission developed a notification that several universities and colleges to inform the work of recruiting high-level athletes, and determined 51 colleges as experimental points to address the difficulties during the process of the Sports Talent education. In 2005, the Ministry of Education finally confirmed the 235 colleges which included 17 colleges in Jiangsu province with the quality to recruit high-level athletes on the basis of the assessment of experimental points. Though the colleges had got gratifying result on high-level sport team by practicing for more than 20 years, there still were many confused problems on the organization of education for athletes. So it is particularly important to study on how to strengthen the Registry Management of high-level athletes.This paper makes several conclusions by studying the Registry Management of high-level athletes of colleges in Jiangsu Province with many methods, such as literature, questionnaire, experts'interview, statistical method.1. The colleges in Jiangsu province have a relatively complete security system in the process of building high-level sports team. 2. When the colleges in Jiangsu province recruit athletes, the colleges'educational requirement for the high-level athletes is low, which brings lots of difficulties in further education.3. The athletes have too much freedom to choose their major. The athletes adopt the same education plan as the normal college students do, however, they do not have their own educational plan even though they are the special students.
