| Information technology has great influence on Chinese language education in primary schools in our country. It innovates the traditional class teaching and provides more teaching methods for teachers. Considering the features of the curriculum of primary school Chinese education, this research, with a number of data and cases, analyses the problems in enhancing the efficiency of literacy teaching at lower grades and then puts forward the detailed methods. The first part of this paper probes into the current literacy teaching. Firstly, it suggests what problems now we have in literacy teaching. Secondly, it analyzes how information technology influences students'learning of characters at lower grades. Thirdly, it discusses the influence of the technology on the teaching of characters. The second part then analyzes the problems in recent literacy teaching, the problems in the application of information technology and those in the teaching practice. To solve the problems mentioned above, the third part puts forward some detailed methods, including strengthening the training of teachers to make the use of technology more efficient, using the information technology in a specifically oriented way, improving students'participation, paying attention to the differences between students, and attaching importance to the cooperated use of information technology together with the traditional teaching methods. |
