Since the 1990s, with the policy of increased enrollment carried out by the country, Vocational and technical colleges have made enormous progress and achievements in various aspects, which lead the employment pressure to become bigger and bigger. Therefore, it is essential to strengthen the construction of the Career guidance staff in order to improve the vocational guide, the rate, and quality of employment.This thesis mainly resorts to investigation review. Through the analysis of questionnaires and interviews, the author has obtained the comprehensive knowledge of the current situations of Career guidance teachers'construction. Based on it, this thesis, analyzing causes after finding the problems, puts forward countermeasures and advices, aims to improve the construction of the Career guidance teachers in Vocational and technical college.Through analyzing the literature review, the author defines the core concept of Vocational and technical college, Career guidance teachers, and the construction of the teachers. In addition, through the interviews of the professional and concurrent Career guidance teachers and related administrators, the writer describes the current situations of the construction of the Career guidance teachers from four aspects which are as follows, general situations, job arrangement, managing system, and the training situation. Moreover, through the analysis of the current situations, the author sums up the following three major problems, first, lack of the administrators'awareness, second, the slow progress of the construction, third, lack of the scientific management systems, which result from three categories, first, the construction of the Career guidance teachers is not clear, second, the training is irrational, finally, the sense of self-development of teachers are strong.In view of causes mentioned above, the author states four improved strategies, namely, making the target of the construction of the teachers clear, strengthening and improving the training, promoting self-development of teachers; establishing the related policies.
