Transmitting culture and molding people's souls are the basic responsibilities of a teacher. To reform and develop a school, teachers are the fundamental strength. It has the very important significance for a school to have teaching staff with high quality, because they can improve the competitive ability of a school, promote the development of a school'characteristics, and cultivate the students with the ability of developing themselves and meeting the need of society.Facing today's good situation of vocational education and our school's status quo, I feel deeply that teachers in our school haven't met the demand of continuous development. They can't adapt to the development technical education and can't keep pace with the development of society. Thinking about it, I write the paper in order to discuss the problem of how to make a high quality teaching staff with our own characters. The construction of teaching staff is a kind of complicated project. With congenital deficiency and the shortage of history accumulation, now the school just manages with the effort to make a living. The quality of teaching staff is the bottle neck which restrains our school's development. In order to develop ourselves, rebuilding teaching staff thoroughly is the man strategic problem which must be solved firstly. Through referring to documents, studying investigating and analyzing particular cases, I think that building advanced teaching staff is not only for developing school and society, nut also for caring about our own teachers'demand.How can we build a teaching staff with high quality? I think we should have had new theory and clear instruction. We should rely on the outside circumstances, tap inner potential, lay stresses on the creation of regulations, construct life community and guarantee the teachers'development of students, teachers and schools. we should map out a plan scientifically and solve the inveterate diseases effectually, which are inadequate quantity, irrational construction and low quality. We should strengthen the construction of teachers'virtue, mould teachers'noble spirit, guide teachers to build the main part of moral characters, help teachers remove the heavily moral cross and care about teachers humanly We should enhance and improve training and pedagogic research, provide effective platform and sufficient chances to make teacher possess their own essential, practical and conditional knowledge and to lay solid foundation of teachers'professional development. We should arrange and open up a series of teaching activities, build up noble and unsullied campus culture and make varied, rich and interesting activities to provide time and space, create circumstances, build stage for teachers to grow up, develop, mature and show up. We should also reform educational evaluation, give priority to encouragement, and treat punishment not seriously. we should pay more attention to groups as well as individuals, attach importance to processes as well as results, and lead teachers into combining the development of school and themselves. We should also cultivate a teaching team with the man part of double– kind teachers who should have modern theory and master advanced technology of vocational education, and can carry out the whole system education effectually and become the real power which can be relied on.
