A Research On The Teaching Of Movie And Video Works As A Chinese Language Curriculum Development In Secondary Professional School

Teaching of movie and video works (MVW) in this research as one method of Chinese language curriculum development is defined as a teaching activities in secondary professional schools under the background of popular culture society,which for the purpose of helping students to know the knowledge of the works,widen the culture vision, improve the ability of percipience to the MVW and develop their life qualities.Teaching of MVW is seldom believed as one subject in secondary professional schools but just be seen as a complement instruct to Chinese language and literature teaching.This research will discuss some attempts on MVW teaching and learning from the aspects of Chinese language subject.This research is combined with five parts.In the part of introduction, the author claims the research background,defines the aim and objectives,research structure and methods.Secondly,the author defines the research scope,reviews the literature on the popular culture communications and selects relevant theories critically.In the third part, the author analyses the importance of popular culture and its communications as a key education resources in secondary professional schools and a new instruct for modern education.In part four the author investigates the current situation of MVW education by questionnaires, analyze the curriculum designing, teaching organization and assessment by the case from author herself, clarifies the requirement to the teachers in this subject.Finally the author draws out the conclusions and recommendation to the further researches, and the limitations in this work.The main conclusions are listed as following:1.We must focus our sight on the MVW teaching and education under the background of popular culture communication.2.MVW education has a huge developing space in secondary professional schools because of the interesting and appeals from students.3.MVW subject is one important component of the whole curriculum structure in secondary professional schools,this requires relevant teachers to improve the knowledge and teaching skills, to use multiple instruct methods in order to get a higher level of education.
